So recently I found a cupcake that kicks the famous Magnolia Bakery's toosh. BATCH is a take out bakery, dessert shop, and houses everything sweet - is owned by Chef Pichet Ong and Stuart Brill and is in the heart of New York City's Greenwich Village. The menu features cookies, cupcakes, puddings, cakes, and other sweet treats, including gourmet dog biscuits

Pictured is my favorite flavor- Strawberry Coconut. I never thought I would find a cupcake that could take the place of my Magnolia Cupcake...but it happened and I am one happy woman.

My old boss and dear friend Laurie sends me "thoughts of the week" about once a month. So, I guess she should make it "Thoughts of the month". I wanted to share with you my latest from her. Her email was very timely.

Today, I met up with one of my dearest friends TARA LEIGH COBBLE. Tara Leigh has such a love for this city and it is always awesome to share my thoughts, hear her ideas of how we can all contribute to gaining world peace, and talk about deeper issues of the heart… like men! She is such an AMAZING woman and whoever snatches her up for the rest of their life will be ONE BLESSED MAN. So, I have decided on a clean blog surface. A new vision, a new day, a brand new blog. Day by day, I am working on a course of action to map out what I know "I am supposed to do". Today a friend reminded me that it is not about what "I do" but what "I allow" to be done thru me. The road ahead is unknown, but the above quote encourages me to move forward, no matter what arises.
